One of my favorite color combinations this year – olive green and orange – is resurfacing today and like other complimentary combos, this one is a match made in fashion heaven. I discovered this dynamic duo on accident in April, when I wore a monochrome olive look and accented it with a glossy orange lip and the same clutch featured in this outfit. I’m sure my fashion gals can relate to conjuring up a bomb style creation on a whim. When this came together, it changed my life. Not literally, but it is influential enough to make me mix these two colors again.
I have to say, these pants are as glorious as they are comfortable. As a petite girl, my relationship with pants have been a rocky one, to say the least. It’s like the guy/girl who looks good, has potential but he/she just isn’t the one for you. They just don’t fit. In this scenario, that guy or girl is most pants for me. Luckily, H&M stocked these last year from their conscious collection sending my heart (and legs) into a happy frenzy. They fit surprisingly well and don’t swallow me like an elephant does a peanut. The only issues I have is that there aren’t more colors in my possession and the length is a tad off, but not so bad that I can’t wear as is or cuff the hems (see below). A good pair of pants breed a whole new level of confidence, especially for a 4’10 ish short girl. Basically, I’m feeling myself here.
Are you guys crushing on any cool color combos? Do tell in a comment below. Hope you don’t mind if I try them. xox
